Despite not looking forward to doing this; last stretch I continued an extra minute! Haha go me!
Question though - because of my hips I’m restricted to the treadmill! It’s sooo boring. I have my music, its facing the window so I can look out the garden. Any tips?

I don’t get on with the treadmill, but I did distract myself from both time and breathing by switching from music to spoken word, either in the form of a guided run or podcast... these give me something to concentrate on and forget about running. Maybe that could help?
Spoken word... thanks I may give that a go 👍🏻 I’d prefer to try the roads but it hurt my hips too much. I had taken a few weeks to build up to actually doing this so I tried the treadmill and had no issues. Maybe once I graduate and get stronger I can try the road again (weather wise I’m better off also haha)
Hey, I say screw the outdoors... lots of us are looking into gym membership and day passes for the winter 😂. Do this where you’re most comfortable... let the running strengthen your hips and other joints... wait for those snowdrops in the early spring, then emerge just like them into the parks and make the adjustments to the great outdoors!
Thanks - fortunate to have a treadmill in cabin in the garden! Just need to sort out the view! It’s better since moving; I got fed up with counting rings in a knot in the woodwork 😏
