So after reading so many posts about how hard it is to go back to intervals after the 20min run, I decided to get it out of the way pronto.
I know I probs shouldn’t miss my rest day but I was so full of energy, so decided to give it a go... and SMASHED IT!!!
This was my first time running on a treadmill instead of the street, and remarkably I found it better (even though I’ve avoided the treadmill throughout because I thought I’d get bored).
Not only did I smash the run but I bumped my speed up to 5.4mph and did an extra 2.5mins at the end with an additional 1% incline.
I absolutely LOVE this programme!!!!

I actually took myself out of the game for 2 weeks, with a knee injury, at the end of week 4 (and wound up repeating weeks 3 and 4 to get back in the game) by over-striding, so I’m now very aware of not getting injured.
Now though, I have my technique down and I’m doing lots of strength training too, to stay injury free. If anything, I might be a bit more tired tomorrow, but I can cope with that. And it was worth it to shut down the mind monkeys 😉
It's not the boredom of the treadmill that gets me. I get dizzy and disorientated on them. I went for gait analysis the other day and wanted them to hurry up because I was starting to feel queezy. Your not even on it a minute 😂 Don't know how I would cope with 25 or 30 minutes.
Good on you though. It's what you are comfortable with and you did a great workout. 😉👍
I know what you mean with this, I have one in my garage and have been using it for some runs since the start (I'm in week 6), and towards the end of the 30 minutes my eyesight starts to play tricks on me and boxes etc look like they are moving slightly, but its actually just me moving, wierd!
