IMHO, you completed it, move on. Week 5 was my favourite week, it’s very liberating.
How are you trying to slow down? Seems a silly question I know, but there’s cadence (footfall per minute) and there’s stride length, I find it easier to go slow if I change the latter, as I keep the same rhythm then.
Enjoy run 2... and relax about what’s to come... worst result is you don’t complete a run, but you come back stronger each time you come to the start line. Don’t worry about it, tell yourself you can, and don’t look at the time!
Hi, I'm on w5r2 and I stopped the last run with 1min47 left on the clock. I intend on retaking it. Purely because w5r3 looks daunting and I want to make sure I'm fully prepared. But the choice is yours. I'm just one of those types that needs everything to be "completed properly" before I move forward. I'm no expert but I see no harm in you moving on to the next run without retaking.
