Did not go early as usual, it was persisting !! It down and very windy; waited a few hrs until it eased off then braved the elements and enjoyed the 1st run of week 5. It does really help to take on board the advice given on this forum especially from the grads; so it was nice and steady on the 1st 5 min run gradually going through the gears on runs 2 and 3.

Well done! Did the same yesterday but must admit it was steady from start to finish! Attempting wk5r2 tomorrow changed routine this week as run 3 looks massive and don't fancy it after a full day at work on Wednesday!
Well done for yesterday's run; my routine from week 1 has been to do the runs on Sat, Mon and Weds, then have 2 days off. I have been tempted to deviate and go to the next run earlier than planned but I have resisted as the routine has been successful up to now.
Well done-just keep on chipping away at these runs. I know run3 looks daunting but trust me-once you do it, it's a massive turning point. I think for most people it's the point where you start feeling like a proper runner. I still get tired and puffed out, but I really enjoy these longer runs. It's an amazing triumph to get this far! X
