I’m new here. I’ve always been active and enjoy yoga and sport but I could never run. I would hit a wall in 30seconds. It was pitiful. This program has changed my life. I can easily run 28 minutes non stop.
I know they advise days off between runs to avoid injury. I just felt so good running that I ended up doing it every day.
Has anyone else done the same? Anyone find success or failure with it?
By week 8- did people start noticing a change in their bodies?
Thank you

You’ve been lucky... but the rest days are not only for injury avoidance, they also allow your muscles to develop too. So, while you’ve been lucky, you are now not as strong as you would have been if you’d done this programme the way it is laid out.
When you run you create microtears in the muscles, which repair and strengthen on your rest days, not while running. No rest, no repair and strengthening and so increased injury risk. You might get away with it, but I can point you to the stories of many who didn't.
You will become a better runner quicker by doing some non impact exercise on your rest days, rather than running every day.
It takes many months for a new runner to significantly reduce their injury risk, so please take care.
Injury can come out of the blue, requiring you to stop running for days, weeks or even months.
