Well to be honest wasn’t in the mood this am @ 5.30 so had another 30 mins in bed. Don’t know what it was all about but eventually got going at 6.30. Very cold but dry and no wind. Cold caught my breath and struggled with my breathing. Just couldn’t get going into a decent rhythm. Gave myself a-bit of a talking to pulled on my big girls nickers and completed it but very slowly. This has been the hardest run so far R1&2 of W8 were great no probs but today lost my mojo. Been thinking about why.....🤔
Poor fluid intake yesterday
Poor dietary choice for dinner last night( too much sugar)
Not used to running in the cold and wind
W9 is calling and l shall plan to run on Saturday morning making sure l prepare and make better choices tomorrow.
However l did run and l did complete the run ( thought l may not at one point)
Lessons to be learnt 🤔😀👍🏃♀️

So admirative of you, people, who get up so early and run in the dark and cold (and rain or snow). Well done and feel even stronger because you managed to finish that one even if you felt bad! Good luck with the runs before graduation!
Well.. you are so close and sometimes this kind of run happens.. you are going to be just fine
Now, do not ask me why, but when I read your post.. the tune and lyrics from a Rocky Horror Show came into my head..( yes, I know I am weird)... so..this one is for you ...
The sugar was sweet and you ate it.
The body needs water, hydrate it
You got up too late and you know it
Whatever the weather, think blow it
But... the run was out there and you ran it.
Next time you head out, you will plan it
The lesson was there and you learned it
When that badge is all yours, you'll have earned it !
These big girl knickers are very handy to have around! Well done you for finding, putting them on, and going out in the cold and wind. Another one in the bank.
