W9R1 done - can not believe I am in the last week😳

Hello,

Just wanted to say to people who are just starting out, do not give up on a programme even if it feels hard.

Time flies and before you know it, you will be in Week Nine!

I genuinely can not believe I am in the last week of C25K and did my 30 minute run early this morning even before 8am!

What?! Me?!!!

Ps. Can’t wait for the Sunday to complete and do my last run, after which I am following NRC 30 minute runs to consolidate.

Well done! Almost there, a great achievement. I did w8 R2 this morning and it's true. I'm really enjoying the longer runs. Unbelievable!

I know! When I was in the first few weeks reading posts from people who are in week 7 onwards felt like ages away. But here we go.

Well done!! I will be finishing week 8 and like you I can’t believe I got this far!

I’m intrigued to find out what happens after week 9! People talk about consolidation runs, and you mentioned NRC...what’s that?

Anyhow...good luck and really well done!

NCR is a Nike Running Club app, it’s free and it’s got lots of guided runs. I just will be choosing the ones that are around 30 minutes.

I read up a bit about what next after Graduation, just to be ready, there is this idea that we shouldn’t push ourselves and run for 30 minutes 3 days a week and improve stamina, speed etc, so I am going to take 3-4 weeks to do just that.

Whalen I am comfortable with 30 minutes I will start 5to10k journey and see where it leads me hopefully x

Congratulations- nearly there! I’m doing W9R1 tomorrow so hopefully we’ll be graduating together in a few days. I also never thought I’d make it this far. 🎉
