Just a word of encouragement to anyone who has shin pain. I was in agony on week 1 run 1. The pain in my shins was probably a 10 out of 10 just burning like sunburn . I think im over it now in week 5 as I must have strengthened the muscles around the bone. I learnt a few stretches to loosen up before and after too. I would say the week 5 is more in the mind Im sure there is a chimp on my shoulder telling me to stop running after 5 minutes.

That’s heartening. I hope I can say the same for my Achilles/calf issue when I get back in W3r3. Happy pain free running!
