From week 5 to week 3!

Cannot seem to find my mojo after having to stop on week 5 due to being ill. Went back to week 1, now on week 3, but hunting high and low for my mojo. The biggest pain is, coming home from work to get changed into my running shoes etc...once Im out I am fine. Must try harder. :)

Change the routine maybe- different time, different route, different soundtrack. Don't overthink. Don't debate. Remember how nice it is when you get out there. A decent morning here today, maybe just get into your gear and GO!

Hard to change the routine as most nights home by 7pm -no choice. Plus I don't like to have music on my phone as I run at night (dark still) and I like to hear what is going on around me. Will try and get back on track Monday, this weekend is way to busy. I totally agree with how nice it is out there!!! :)

Really, really understand time pressures! But sometimes you have to make running the priority and let something else wait. No one ever died from a dusty house.

It may sound a bit selfish, but there will always be something else that pulls us away from the plan and it is so good to have a little time for oneself :)

Who says I dust?? :) I really do prefer running at nights, daytime in the centre on Edinburgh is way to busy. I will get there..slowly but surely.

Thanks :)

I find the after work runs the hardest - especially if it's already dark. Like you once I'm out there it's ok. I try to see the runs in the week as a lead up to something much more fun at the weekend when I always run in the light somewhere lovely.

You've already shown such determination coming back after being ill - keep going!

I love the run at night I just hate the undressing to dress again ha ha. I never run day time as I only have the weekends and Im usually catching up on domestics, shopping, or catch ups....then before you know it, its Monday again....grrrr. But I won't give up :) Cheers

The reason you are fine when you head out is because the mojo and the gremlins hide under your running shoes... They run away when you put your shoes on... Well done you anyway!!

Maybe hang your shoes up by the laces so the mojo cannot hide :) Put a post it note by them..

Today I shall be one run stronger:)
