Just turned 44 and decided it was time to stop waist catching up with age (as it was getting close!) Was really nervous about starting this but have just finished week 1, amazed I did (especially after first day!!) Already feeling so much better and looking forward to starting week 2!

That's great!! this forum is invaluable for keeping you motivated, everyone here seems super lovely - runners - who'd have thought it! ;) honestly there will be great runs, good runs, bad runs and runs that suck but you just keep going. and now you have a virtual cheerleading squad behind you. don't be afraid to ask anything - there is usually someone going through or having gone through the same, which is great because you know you're never alone :)

Welcome and congratulations on completing week 1. Keep sharing your progress and up and downs on here, the community is supportive and motivational. It's helped me get to week 7 and I'm loving it. 62 yr old and my son has promised to join me on my graduation run cos he's proud of me. Awwww!!
