I've just had 3 weeks rest after completing my first three weeks and pulling a muscle in my left knee.
I bought some Brooks Ravenna 9 running trainers and went out on Sunday and today and WOW, they have made such a difference. I went back to the start and ran a week one run on Sunday then a week 2 today and I'll do another week 2 on Friday.
I missed running and I never thought I'd think that.
I've even inspired my 24 year old niece to run. She said 'if you can find time in between work, running the house, 4 children and all the other stuff you do then I can surely find 1/2 hr to run. I felt quite emotional.
