Struggling with motivation

Hi,

I'm on week 7 run 3. I was due to do it yesterday but delayed until today.

I am proud of the progress I have made, it feels great not to get tired running for the bus and I know after every run I feel better and have more energy.

However I seem to be losing motivation and this is why I am putting runs off. I'm not sure if it is the cold weather or the fact that the last few runs have all just been solid 25minutes...

Did any one else struggle with motivation around this stage? Any tips?

The change in the weather can put us off our stride until we get used to it. Some people do have a little problem with the longer straight runs. I found changing my music helps. Some like radio podcasts and some like audio books. Also just plain silence. If you are fine with the run then it is probably a mental stimulation issue, try listening to different things or just nature see if that makes the run feel any better. Keep going it is not long to graduation now. 😀. Rfc x

Thanks. I managed to go out and do the run but I ended up stopping three times for like 20seconds each time. This was all purely mental I think, I just couldn't fight the voice telling me to stop running! Maybe I am just having a few off days. Will consider listening to an audiobook to keep my mind stimulated :)
