Welcome and well done. Take your rest days and keep your runs slow and steady. A few weeks ago I was 62 and starting C25k, now I'm still 62 but running 25 minutes in week 7, so you certainly can do it

Welcome - well done for making a start. I was 59 and overweight (BMI 30.9) when I started. You can do this!

My first run was the worst. In fact I never ran at all, only walked. Now on week 8 and am long past caring what people think, and am really enjoying the programme. Good luck with yours. 🤞🏼🤞🏼🏃🏻‍♀️🤞🏼👍🏼

I'm 58 and overweight too, but this programme has worked miracles for me - running 25-30 minutes now and actually ENJOYING it! As people say, take it steady and trust in the programme, it is powerful magic, and it works!

I’m old (61) and well chubby (bmi 32) and did my first run last Friday. Glad of the 2 day weekend break as lower outer shins ached for 2 days. Keeping my runs secret so I can shock the family at Christmas. Waiting for it to warm up then do my second run this morning. Hope you’re ache free!

Well done for starting! My advise would be to make sure you stretch after each run and on the rest days too. I had lots of aches and pains in W1 and W2 but much much less now and I’ve just got one run of W5 to do. Good luck!

Wow!!! Thanks everyone, really appreciate it.
