Decided to put the extra hour to good use and left the wife in bed and headed off to the gym. A little trepidatious bearing in mind I had a brilliant w6r3, I thought ok if it's too early, no breakfast etc etc i'll just run walk and start again tomorrow but hey!!! The magic of C25k, Laura and damn the programme works. 25 minutes non stop no problem and a little faster than w6r3 and half way through I'm thinking, Parkrun, December, here I come.

So if your just starting or got any doubts I am a huge advocate. At 62 I thought my running days were behind me but a few weeks after starting I feel great, no pain from my dodgy knees and 30 minutes non stop running is just a few runs away.
