running in the cold weather is not fun. I bought some 'skins' but still felt cold. Can you recommend gloves and hat suitable?

I've got some thin gloves which are fleece lined. So they keep my hands warm but they're not too chunky if you see what a mean. I also have a bobble hat.

I got running gloves from Decathlon I think. They are thin and I can use my phone in them, but they keep my hands warm enough in this chilly weather. I also have a buff to go round my head to keep my ears warm. A zip up running jacket is handy - zips all the way so that once I warm up I can unzip, and then take it off if necessary and tie it round my waist using the sleeves. I have one light weight one for autumn and a thicker one for winter, but when it's really cold and wet I will wear the thicker one, with a thin rain proof one on top.

Layers is definitely the answer.
