Well I did it graduated today on my first parkrun. I have enjoyed the program making progress each week really Spurs you on and a great community on here encouraging others to keep going it has a real feel good factor.

Was a bit nervous going for the first time but it was a fun atmosphere. The weather was cold wind and cold rain and I’ve realised I need to upgrade the running kit for winter as I was in shorts and t shirt!

Last five mins I had a bit of a stitch but not too bad and I finished 5k in a time of 29:18 which is my fastest yet, really wanted to get it in under 30 so I’m chuffed at that.

Looking forward to consolidating the 5k and then go from there. This program has made me enjoy running which I didn’t think was possible and looking forward to the future!

Congratulations on completing c25k and your parkrun. I did my parkrun in cold wind and rain today too. Gloves and 3 layers of clothing. I thought I was mad but loved it too x

Congratulations on completing C25K with week 9 run 3 at your first parkrun. Your time of 29.18 means that you are among the 10% of people who have ran a sub 30 minute 5k by graduation day. To get your 🎓 badge and the word GRADUATE next to your username leave a message on the October graduate post in the pinned posts on the right side of the healthunlocked C25K home page and tell the administrators that you have ran W9R3 of C25K.
