Seems I got a bit excited about the longer runs and didn’t pay attention to my style. My shins were sore after this run probably due to landing on my heels. I’ll leave a gap before running next week to recover. If the problem persists I’ll repeat week 2 as I had no problem after those runs.

I’ve also been looking at stretches that focus on shin problems and they are helping.

Sticking with it as even after two weeks I’m feeling the benefit.

Good call and good determination... gotta look out for the shins and better to “lose” a few days than to lose months injured.
