I did it and now on Week 3 of Repeating Week 9

I completed week nine and decided to keep repeating it to build up my fitness before thinking about progressing to a longer distance. I would say that you do need to keep motivated - it would be easy to just stop now that you have made it to week 9. The positive is that I am definitely much more comfortable doing the 30 minute run now and seem to be covering about the right distance. I am now going to join one of the local 5K park runs in addition to continuing with the rinse repeat of Week 9.

What are other folks doing post week 9?

Congratulations on graduating. I did the same thing as well. Now I run for however long I feel like. But always minimum 25mins . 🙂👍🏻👍🏻

I’m following a 5k race plan. Some speed work and an extending long run. Plan ends Saturday before Christmas.

I did that to. It’s a good way to do your consolidation runs. There’s this post (in the Pinned Posts, FAQ by IannodaTruffe) that you might find useful.

Enjoy your Park Run. Don’t forget to print, and take, your barcode with you when you go.

Hi, I'm doing exactly the same, the advice I got was to just keep running at the 3 mile/5k mark for a month or so, I am now on week 12 and last night ran 3 and a half miles in 41mins. I've done a 5k park run and loved it and will be doing another tomorrow. I think staying at this level for a bit gives you confidence and I'm now thinking I could run a bit further. My aim at the start was (1) to be able to run! and (2) get to 5k which I've done, anything else I manage after is a bonus and a wee miracle! Plus,it's starting to become enjoyable. Slow and steady, it's Definately the way. Good luck for future.
