Week 9 Run 3 - I did it

Yesterday I graduated from C25K . Didn’t manage the 5k but completed 30 minutes running. Thank you to everyone who commented and gave me good advice.

So what do I do now? It’s like starting another journey

I think I’m going to consolidate this over next my next 3 runs and then slowly increase the distance. I’ve downloaded ASICS Running Plan which hopefully will take me through to London Marathon but I will miss Sarah Millicans lovely voice.

I didn’t think I would feel so proud doing this - still a long way to running 26.2 miles tho

Congratulations!

You can continue to indulge in Sarah Millican's voice by listening to some of the Standard Issue podcasts as you run (it's her project as it were but she's not on all of them)

Fantastic! Huge well done! 🎉🎉🎉😀 Bask on that podium!

I have just had my first graduation run and my next goal is to be able to do 5K and a park run.

Congrats! And great good luck for the next stage. Am currently languishing on W7 & tho 'only' 7 runs away, graduating still feels like a distant dream!

I felt like this too but it’s amazing - stick with the journey and it’s be here before you know it. Good luck

Congratulations. I start wk7 next week so hoping to graduate before Xmas. My target is 30 mins running consistently. 5k can come later 😀. For me it is all about the journey ... never really understood what that meant until I joined this program. This forum has been inspirational with all the support from the mentors and contributors.

Woo hoo ...Well done Joruss. 🎉🎉🎉

You're right, that 5k is there for you, it will take you a few extra mins but you will be able to do it...

A few more 30 mins just to get really comfy then start going for it...

You sound totally commited to your running and have great plans to take you forward...just brilliant 👏👏👏👏

Happy running Graduate😊x
