Guilty pleasure. Eating. What else?

Please trust me, I do not plan to come across insensitive.

I hope I am not alone in saying that I have taken running purely for the pleasures of eating?

I have started the programme with a different intention. Well to run 5K obviously.

Now that I am just about to reach the two years mark, the objectives have realigned along the way.

Very soon into 10k mark, I have discovered that I have a bigger appetite than normal on running days. Started running three days a week and soon discovered I have acquired the ability to have anything!

.

Now the objectives are being realigned as we speak. Binging on junk foods have become a thing of the past. Occasional treats are just had during the running days. All I can think of is why work hard to be healthy and then poison myself with foods that has more than 15-20% of every single macro nutrient? I do crave pastries but not enough to push myself into making one or buying one. 😊

Years and years of neglect, and now this. I can’t believe it!

Yes, it’s amazing. After a year of running, my appetite is self regulating and my desire for naughty things has all but vanished. So I say to new runners, enjoy your guilty eating pleasures while you can, because eventually they will be pleasures no more - thus neatly removing half the excuses not to get out and run 😂😂😂

That’s cool... I don’t have many food vices... but I shall aim to run for pizza... apparently it’s good for you now 😂😂. Well, not in the calorie sense, but the cheese magnified the tomato’s antioxidants or something!

I found a research paper (funded by the American pig breeders association) that scientifically proves a bacon sandwich made with fresh crusty white bread is good for you. So I'm sticking with it.
