Yup - but don't worry, you'll be more than prepared if you follow the programme!

2 x 8 min runs today and then on to a 20 min one 2 days later seems a big leap!!

If you add in the 5 mins walk break with the last run, you exercised for 21mins. The next run is 20mins exercise , do slighted shorter 😀👍🏼. Take it slowly.

Hey Polly, to be honest it's not as bad as it seems, it's just the 2 8 min runs together and a little bit more - but you were walking briskly between those runs so you your heart rate was still up - your body is prepared for it. mentally it's slightly more challenging, but you can beat those gremlins. give it a go, if it doesn't work out then repeat but you really can do it there is nothing to fear. just go slow and steady as always and you will feel epic on the other side. x

I thought it looked like a big leap but it really isn't. The simplest advice is just keep going and take it slowly.

Completed W5R2 and I actually didn’t struggle like I thought I would. I wasn’t even that breathless, however I am definitely thinking the last run of the week, being a full 20 minutes will be tougher.

Yes, we've all been there, panicked and then been amazed that it's actually easier than the split runs!
