I did this a few years ago got up to almost 10K then stopped running now starting over and have decided to quit smoking alongside ... 3 weeks under my belt! Couldn’t start from the beginning so tonight I’ve finished W7 R3. The first 10mins is still the hardest!

Nice going. The toxic first 10 is always the hardest. Very best of luck with running and non-smoking 😀👏👏👏👏👍

Well done for coming back and congratulations on completing the run! Quitting smoking - wow! That's a big one! I've been through it. Wish you all the best and amazing health as you are clearly putting great effort in that frontier.

Welcome back.

This guide to the plan is essential reading healthunlocked.com/couchto5...

If it is several years since you last ran, then please be careful about building up your leg strength again. It is so easy to overdo it, simply because you used to be a runner and want to reproduce your past glories........remember that you are older and that needs consideration.

Enjoy your journey but take care.
