I managed 8.5k in that time. I went a bit slower than my last long run, but thatβs ok - itβs all building stamina. I took a different route today too and found a lovely lake to run round. Iβm really enjoying pushing myself to reach new goals and I feel great after a run π Must get some gloves tho, now the early mornings are chilly - any recommendations?
Ran 55 minutes - goal reached, yay!! π - Couch to 5K

Nice Faith, and Iβd be mighty pleased with that time too! πππ Bet you feel great after that. What a fab way to start the week!
Wish me luck for my 8k on Thursday. πββοΈ
Wow, look at you go! Huge run... very well done.
I use thinsulate gloves, but theyβre not phone compatible, which may be worth bearing in mind. Nothing too thick would be my advice.
Thank you! Iβll look at those. I only use my phone at the start and end, So warmth is my main priority π
Mine were dirt cheap in Tesco years ago... pretty sure they still do them... I waited for the first snow as that meant they were reducing them to make room for beachwear π
Like your thinking π€
Love reading how well you are doing, such great and inspiring progress! I picked up a great Karrimor top in the sales section of sports direct which has longer fold-over sleeves with thumb holes in them. Super easy to get your hands out again when you feel they are getting too warm. Mind you, only used it once as the weather turned warm again after my trial run!
Thanks! That sounds good. I love Sports Direct. I got ASICS trainers from there - Β£90 less than on-line price! The last couple of runs Iβve kept my zip over top on.
