Changed venue today and ran along the river bank. And yes, I did it too! 20 minutes and I wasn't even out of breath at the end of it. Not that it was easy - legs quite achey and feet hurt but that's cos I'm running in trainers and not proper gait-anayzed-shoes. Thanks to all of you for encouragement 5 weeks ago and of course Laura too - music is not my cup of tea but the rhythm is just what we need - I actually raise my arms and click my fingers to the beat when there's a decent track! I know, they'll take me away and lock me up soon... See you after Week 6 Run 1. Bfn guys!
20 minutes done, Yay!: Changed venue today and... - Couch to 5K
20 minutes done, Yay!
Well done, Delia! Knew you would be fine with the 20 mins. It's a great boost to the morale, a big milestone. Is it still hot there in Italy? Pouring rain here and generally starting to look and feel like autumn. See you soon!
Thanks Soozz. Yes it is still hot in Italy, temperatures in the thirties after midday, but it was quite cool at 7.30 am - even so, I had to avoid the sunny bits, if you see waht I mean. And the dogs. Lots of angry looking dogs around this morning being walked by their owners.Woodcutters, dogs, whatever next?! Have a nice day and bfn.
great mum!
Thanks Becks and good luck on Week 2 xox Mum
So chuffed for you, well done it's an amazing feeling week 5, you only have more fantastic runs to look forward to. Change of scenery always makes for a pleasant change. enjoy week 6.
Thanks Phil! Remember how scared I was at the start? Who would have believed I could come this far.
Anyway, how are you enjoying graduation? Have you done many runs? Have you got a playlist without Laura? Delia
Yes and look at you now, running by the river, foreign cities, amazing what a difference a few weeks can make.
I try to run every other day, but dropped one run this week due to one of my knee's giving me a warning, swam instead, but managed to get out last night, not keen on evening runs, much prefer mornings. Definately have a couple of playlists without Laura
