Treadmill run but put the incline down from 4 to 1 and increased my speed. Did 3k which I’m pretty pleased about. And it was an easy run. Might try a bit faster on Wednesday.

Well done you! I did W6R3 on Thursday and did 3.3k hopefully get more used to 25mins non stop in week 7 :)

Thanks! I’ve been running really slowly but I hadn’t realised I had the incline at 4 degrees. First run that wasn’t up hill all the way 😂

Yeah incline is no fun for us beginners

Well done! Sounds like you’ve got yourself sorted Lapsedyogi! 👏👏

I’ve yet to run on a treadmill (well, 20+ years ago maybe), and I’m wondering if I should join a gym as contingency for the winter weather? Reluctant to, as I love running outside - but if it snows or is icy, I’ll be gutted missing out! 😫

I found the thought of running outside in my wee village just too daunting. I thought if i could just get a bit fitter, so I didn’t look like I’d run a marathon after 20 seconds, well then I think I’d quite like running outside. In the end I bought a treadmill that was on sale and it’s been fab. No excuses when it’s right there. It kinda winks at me on rest days 😂

There’s an idea. Might have to start looking, then one day ..... ‘ooops, where did that come from?’ when husband asks!! 😅

Great job... you got this... have fun in week 7, they’re all 25s so maybe up the pace in tiny slices if you’re thinking of upping it.

Good advice. Thanks. I’d only up by 0.1mph I think. I’d worry about running out of steam.

Indeed... it’s all about completing the runs, don’t jeopardise that for anything!

Increased by 0.1mph and really noticed towards the end. But did it 😁 and did an extra .2km. Might stick at it for w7r2 though.
