Yesterday I finished W4R3. I am told that Week 5 is the worst week of all. Should I believe it? Tell me please - be gentle!

No it’s the best week! Power! There’s no feeling better than completing run 3 😍

I did week 5 run 1 yesterday and found it easier than all of week 4. Looking forward to run 2 tomorrow!

No, just go at your own pace and you'll do just fine. Stay positive, you've completed week 4 so you're totally ready for it! Rest well, hydrate and go for it!!!

I’m just about to start week 9. Never thought I’d get there. The plan really works. Keep at it!

Week 5 is a great week... the week you just run for the first time. Week one is the hardest... and you’ve done that

Nah, week 5 has been my favourite! From what i can make out, the program's been designed to provide a steady rate of increase in terms of your ability throughout, so if you've gone from one week to the next before, it's exactly that hard! 😁

I doubted myself all the way through, especially from W5 on...but to my amazement I found that the programme WORKS: everything you have done so far has been carefully planned to get your body ready for succeeding in W5 - so just be confident, take it slow, and try not to overthink it. I find listening to a good podcast helps get me through the tough bits - but I also think W5 onwards is where you start to enjoy your progress and the positive benefits of running more. I have to say that I did find W5R3 challenging, but I did it, and then W6 was all much easier (many people find the opposite - so everyone has their own ups and downs). Anyway, very good luck and I look forward to hearing how you go : )

Hello fellow ambler! Week 5 is just fine. I am sitting here having just finished W5R3 and like absolutely everybody says it feels great. It seemed a long run but I paced myself properly and got through it just fine. I'm sure you will too.
