What a beautiful day for a run. Week 8 run 2 was heavy going but I made it and look what we saw on the cool down walk.

Oh wow! You’re very fortunate.

Good run... sometimes they’re tough going. One more to the 30s

We are fortunate, what a lovely sight. I’m on holiday next week so my 30 min runs will be by the sea in Mallorca who hoo I hope I can cope with the warmer climate. How are you doing now you’ve graduated without the C25k app? I’m wondering about motivation.

I’m sure you’ll be able to find a refreshing drink post warm weather run!

I’m doing ok... I’m 5 runs down now of the 6 I’ll do before moving on, so then I’ll follow a 5k race plan until Christmas that takes me to about 5 miles on long runs, then back in the new year to do a six month version to take me to 10 miles. If im still happy with going further I’ll be looking to book a marathon next September for the year after, so I’ll rock over until then so I can go 6 month 10k plan and then prep for the marathon.

Thanks... after that I’m just going to run for fun and parkrun so 5k plans forever, I think!

And what could be better than running for fun. I’m going to aim for a park run after graduation hopefully . I’m probably going to need quite a bit of practice as I’m only doing 3.7k . But I’m gonna stick with it. I’m looking forward to getting that buzz again.

Parkrun will welcome you regardless of how much of it you can run and they do love to see a newbie progressing. You’ll get stronger quickly and extending one run will give you something extra in the tank so you can speed up one of the shorter ones.

The chance of such sitings should help with motivation. If you do find motivation waning (wash my mouth out😃) this forum and the other two will help you find it again. Just keep visiting.
