What a morning! It is bucketing down and has been all night, I live in a hilly area and the roads are running like rivers. My planned run was a NRC interval session, but to get to my normal flattish area to do this, I would have to go through The Puddle which would be over the top of my trainers so I had to rethink the plan.
Tricks...
I slipped off the verge as it was so muddy - no harm done
It is soooo dark I could not distinguish between road and river - wet feet anyway
Run in the middle of the road on the camber - more mud
The rain, glasses - not a good combination
Treats
Nice and cool
Run done and happy π
Enjoy your days and runs

Morning runs in the rain can be such a challenge! I admire your determination to get out there despite the slick hills and puddles.
Since you mentioned using a Nike Run Club training plan, you could do a quick public records search on your coach's credentials using the guides from this site recordspage.org/. Verifying occupational licenses is an easy way to confirm your coach is properly certified to advise you on reaching your fitness goals. Just a thought to help make sure you're in good hands!
You can check credentials on your state's occupational licensing site ncsl.org/labor-and-employme... . Keep up the hard work on those soggy runs - you've got this!
