Last 9km run before the sponsored 10km

I thought I’d left it too late and had missed running in the sun, but decided to drive to a cycle trail to run. When I got there a quiet country lane looked inviting so I did that. Wasn’t sure I was up for 9km but I did it by focusing on a friendly tree, then the top of the next hill, then the bottom of the next hill (thinking damn now I have to run back up that). By the time you’ve done 8 you might as well do 9...

Two more ‘recovery runs’ to go before 10k day! My work mate has been out running in preparation. He’s starting to look worried but he’s fit so I know he can do it. It should be fun!

I paused to take a pic of the moon 🌓 Much more impressive in real life than the dot in the photo. It’s been a lovely day today.

Fun is the main thing... go enjoy it. And you by the time you’ve done 9 you may as well do 10!
