Afternoon all. Does anyone wear these for 5k runs? Or are they more for longer distances ? Are they any benefit?

I wear them too, I’ve had issues with my calves, I think they hold everything in place, physically and psychologically.

I see quite a few people wearing them at parkrun, which is 5k. I’ve never worn them myself.

Compression socks reputedly aid blood flow and can be worn for any distance. Many people put them on after a run to aid muscle repair.
