First time I have felt daunted as really enjoyed tackling C25K up to now
Truly feeling like the grandma of 10 that I am
Should I do it ? I don’t even walk in the rain usually

Great job so far, the hardest work is behind you. Should you do it? You’re asking in the wrong place if you want anyone to say NO 😂. Maybe you can find a window where it isn’t raining, but also once you’re wet you’re wet, and unlike walking, running will keep you warm... the rain will keep you getting too hot, it’s almost perfect. Careful on slippery paths, apart from that it’s all good. Nice warm shower when you get back and you can be proud of yourself all day.
I rarely start a run in the rain..........what are weather forecasts for?
Back ache probably has more to do with weak core muscles than getting wet. A strong core is essential for all runners, so check out core strengthening exercises for runners or try the Strength and Flex programme nhs.uk/live-well/exercise/s... for more general strengthening.
I haven’t run in the rain yet! I check the weather forecast and adjust my schedule accordingly. Perhaps I should give it a try 🙂
