I just gone back to running after a week of being ill and bad ankle yesterday I started wearing compression socks I found that they have stop my ankle and leg muscle hurting think I find the answer

Have to say I like wearing them over my regular socks, they do seem to make for less foot pain after a long run.
The trick for me is to make sure I don't pull them on too tight and squish up my toes. I'm thinking of actually cutting the foot bit off a pair and just using them as compression where most needed around the calves. Kind of like leggings I guess
Good to see your still with us G17. Hope the compression socks resolve your ankle/muscle problems. I chickened out of running this morning after to much🥂🥂🥂 last night so will be out tomorrow bright & early 👍🏻
I swear by these. I have used them from the 3rd week of C25K and ever since. I wear them while running and for up to an hour afterwards depending on the length or intensity of my run. I use the calf compression sleeves though, not the full sock.
What a coincidence, I have just started wearing them too, they really help with supporting my injured foot. So pleased the run went well for you x

Always wear compression socks for every run, wouldn’t go without them now.
