Lying in bed trying to psych myself up to do W4R1. I’m scared of the 5 minute runs!

Go do it... once you’ve done it you won’t fear it any more... slow and steady and a nice breakfast when you get back.

Come on Janey!!!

Nothing to be scared of, you are ready.

I've just got in from a rather blowy 28 minutes and I can still remember clearly how you are feeling now. 🤪.

You can do it! Image how great you will feel afterwards! Take it easy and think about other things other than running during it, it's how I survive! Good luck.

You will rock it! Just jump out of bed, put your trainers on and go slow and steady! Before you know you will be posting how happy you are after your 3x5 🏃🏽‍♀️🏃🏽‍♀️🏃🏽‍♀️

I really enjoyed week 4. I felt so good at being able to do those 5 minutes! You'll smash it. Go, go, go! 🏃‍♀️😊

Simples...just kick off the duvet, brush your teeth, jump into your gear, open the door and off you go. No problem, you can do it - don't let those naughty gremlins get the better of you 🙃, and have faith in yourself. Enjoy the run, and smile...really helps 🙂🌻

Up out of that bed now!!!! Scoldy voice, you’ll feel so much better when you’ve done it, and it’s only 30 mins out of your day!! Pour a stout coffee and away ye go!!

Hi JaneyB311

That is where I am at. W4 R1. I understand what you mean. It seems a big jump. I am going out today for definite. I think secret is to just run nice and slowly. Good Luck

I was too - I initially ran with a friend who had run before and as I struggled to get through 90 seconds I could see her pony tail bobbing in the distance and I was truly scared. I have now just started week 8, and when Sarah Milliken says you have got 5 minutes left I think ‘way hey I can do this’. Keep going, a run at a time, a week at a time 😀
