Very, very bad. Felt like I was dragging my dead weight round the whole time. I finished but I feel so disappointed and deflated. Why was it so hard?

That run catches many people out, after W5R3 weeks6 runs 1 and 2 are back to walking intervals, perhaps you just went a little quicker than you should have.

Better luck for the next run of week 6, after that from the third run it's non stop running with 4/25 minute runs, 3/28 and finally 3/30 minute runs๐Ÿƒ๐Ÿ˜Š

As Almorr has said, W6 R1&2 have caught many a runner out. Slow & steady is the way to go. Well done for completing R1 though๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿป

The difference in the runs have the potential to upend some folk. Jut relax.. have faith in the plan and take each of the runs slowly and steadily..

You finished it and it is the most important! It felt harder as intervals are not so easy to run. Previous run thought you nice pacing and breathing, while now you had to breaks this constant by walking. Many people got caught by this run. Just feel proud that you completed it and move on to your next run, as always nice slow and steady ;)

That run is the infamous confidence sapping one. Itโ€™s a tough set of intervals and hard to pace right, but you did it, most of us struggled with it, many had to repeat it... so you getting through it should now boost your confidence if anything. They canโ€™t all be great, and when theyโ€™re not your mind has to get you through it... great job.

Thanks for your kind responses, everyone! I don't think I was going any quicker than I usually do. In fact, by the end I was taking ages to overtake people walking - ha! Perhaps it was the intervals. You feel recovered and then you're forced to go again. Horrible. I'll try not to let it get to me too much before my next run. Is run 2 just as hard? If so, I'll rank up the pre-run pep talk. Thanks again guys! You're the best ๐Ÿ˜Š

This is exactly how I felt on this run (and the next). It really messes with your confidence especially after the epic feeling at the end of week 5!

You just need to go with it and ride it out-as bad as they feel, they actually prepare you for what is next. Run 3 was my amazing run after them. Hopefully you've had your amazing run too by now.

Thanks Marcia! ๐Ÿ˜Š I did run 2 yesterday and in comparison to run 1, it was wonderful. The next opportunity I get to run the 25 is on Thursday! Looking forward to it. Thank you for your encouragement ๐Ÿ˜Š
