Week 5

Just finished run 2 week 5. Felt exhausted after first 8 minutes but oddly not as bad after second one. Can’t imagine doing 20 minutes in 2 days based on how I felt after the first 8 minutes today!

You’re probably experiencing the “toxic 10” the first 10 or so minutes are often more difficult than the rest.

Well done today... that’s 2 8 minute runs with a 5 minute brisk walk in between... 21 minutes of raised heart rate. Next run is technically less from your body’s point of view. Trust the plan, believe in yourself, go slow and keep the pace down.

I’m in the same position. I’m scared of the 20 mins run.

Did it. I started really slowly and then settled into a steady pace, even sped up at the end. Amazing! Good luck for tomorrow

Got delayed as called in to do baby sitting. Plan to do today at work. Brought my running outfit and realised I left my trainers at home 🤬🤬🤬

Will decide later weather to run outside tonight in the dark (Not done that before 😱) or go to Pilates tonight and run after work tomoz. I really really would like to do this on the downs. Not sure why it's significant 🤷‍♀️ so may leave work early tomoz. I will let you know 😀
