WEEK 5!!

So I’m sure most people here nearly cried when they heard Michael Johnson say “you’re going to run for 20 minutes today”. TWENTY??? But the longest I’ve run for so far is EIGHT minutes god dammit Michael. The first 8 minutes was okay... the next 2 I got a bit anxious because I didn’t know if I could do it. Then the next 10 minutes flew past and before I know it, it was time for the warm down walk! I am in absolute shock. I’ve been using Map My Run to track how many calories I’ve burned and my speed etc. I don’t think I’m especially fast and yesterday I definitely held myself back a bit so that I could complete it which felt like the right thing to do. All in all I’m feeling very accomplished and proud. Now I know I can do it!!!

Me too! He’s so motivating! At the end when he’s like “YES WELL DONE THAT WAS AMAZING” it’s just brilliant ☺️☺️

Well done, completing that run gives your confidence a huge boost and rightly so. Slow and steady is the way, speed will come as you run more. Keep up the good work and enjoy hitting the milestones. 9 more runs till you graduate 😀

So you should be so proud isn't it amazing , running for 20 minutes non stop. Just shows what a great plan can help you achieve anything. Good luck 😊
