W9 The final countdown ahead

Rest day today. Still a niggling Achilles.

W9R1 tomorrow. My style is a bit ploddy but I'm trying my best to increase speed for that last minute( I stopped abusing Jo Wiley when she asks)

So it's 30 minutes 3x this week, I'm still surprising myself and feeling quietly chuffed when I stroll home with the dog!

To everyone doing a 1st run of their new week tomorrow 🖐🏼high5 Let's Do This!

If you have a niggly Achilles, please don't try to increase your speed.

Do some research about Achilles injuries and take care.

I had to stop running for a month when I tweaked mine.

Take care.

I do feel a bit wary about it, a pal snapped his training for a marathon and was on crutches for weeks. I'm only just springing out of a shuffle but it hurts afterwards. Rest helps a lot.
