It's the final countdown do do do do, do do do do do do do
Week 9 run one - completed - at 0530 this morning I might add. Never ever thought I would get this far. I found it so much easier than run 3 on Week 8. To make it even better the Canadian Geese have left the lake and it appears that Mr Heron has a girlfriend. Made me smile as they sat on a log in the middle of the lake then proceeded to partake in what looked like a game of kiss chase! Definitely took my mind off the running
To anyone who doubts themselves and this programme I am living proof that it works ! Fat, forty five and a loyal servant to the couch and TV for 20 years has turned into one of them nut jobs who goes out running at stupid o' clock in the morning !
Couch to 5K really has changed me! (although not completely, you'll still find me in the pub on match days)

This site is full of inspiration, I really don't think I could have done it without reading about everyone's experiences and their support! Once I've graduated on Monday I'll start thinking about 10k. I've sort of agreed to run in a half marathon in March next year with my work colleague. Not sure why I actually did that
It's because c25k changes us from couch potatoes to mad loonies! Well done on run 1, only 60 minutes now 'til you graduate!!! I'm off to get the glasses and party poppers
Just wait until you hear yourself say - "No I am not drinking tonight - I am running tomorrow"! Been there - two dry weddings because Parkrun! Is any other explanation needed?
