For my Wk5 r3, I thought I'd go along to the Parkrun to try the Zenlabs 20min straight run, walking the rest. I took my head out of my watch and just enjoyed a slow jog along with other Parkrunners at the back.
By the time I was halfway, a marshall said I'd run for 18mins and since I was starting to feel warmed up, I continued at my slow pace. Before I knew it I was approaching the finish.
I didn't expect to achieve 5K today. Very happy indeed. Can't wait for 9.00 next Saturday!
