Had to go out today to celebrate! 2nd Park Run completed with my first full run in the rain. Lots of puddle jumping and the new running shoes have definitely lost their sparkle but they're awesome as I knocked a whole 4.16 off last week's time!! C25K is awesome! #loveparkrun ππββοΈπββοΈπ
International Park Run day!: Had to go out today... - Couch to 5K
International Park Run day!
Brilliant GN! What a fabulous amount of time to knock off too. ππ I loved my run in the rain. Way better than being too hot I think! πββοΈπββοΈ
You are reaping the benefits of doing C25K at a sensible steady pace......... parkrun PBs will come for quite some time.
Great fun all thanks to C25K and your hard work.
I certainly am, thank you!! I noticed one person who would run and overtake me then have to walk, this went on for most of the run until near the end when they failed to be seen in the rear view mirror. Now not judging, as many reasons why but I kept thinking..slow and steady. My aim is always no matter what the distance, to complete the whole run without stopping. I have Sanjeev in my ear saying..just keep those legs moving...ππ
Well done you congratulations keep up the good work thats brilliant knocking all those minutes off . Missed park run in sunny Ibiza ππ xx
There was a feature on BBC Breakfast this morning about parkruns 10th anniversary
Great run. 4 minutes off PB? Thatβs amazing
Thank you unfitnomore! Only my second Park Run so I think as iannodatruffe said I was probably slow and steady on c25k. Confidence in new trainers so pace steadily improving and this week I knew what the course was like, how the PR worked so more confident and was able to use the other runners to give me a push!! ππStill grinning ear to ear and no aches or pains today so all good x
I did Park run yesterday too. Well done for a new PB!π
