About to leave my warm cosy apartment to go for my first park run at Frimley Park Lodge in the misty drizzle. Looking forward to it bizarrely, but not run since Monday because of hobbling with the plantar fasciitis.
Then off to a farm cafe for Elevensies π

How did you get on Lissy? ππββοΈπ Iβm back from mine and Iβm waiting for my official result. I got a bit wet, but loved it! πββοΈπ¦ππ
Yep bit wet here too yesterday. But I loved it. My time was 40:13, a PB!! What a great way to start the day/weekend. Wonderful seeing 500 runners, joggers, walkers of all shapes and sizes and ages and dogs in pushchairs and kids on leads π I was buzzing when I finished π
I've got the Windsor 5k race to look forward to next Saturday and just signed up for the Poppy Run in Southampton on 4th Dec. Can't even believe I'm writing that. 3 months ago that would never have been the case.... what's happening to us π€£π€£π€£
Oh wow, how lovely to have so many runs to look forward to! And well done on your PB yesterday! π I got one too, must have been something in the air! πββοΈππ
Weβre changed beings! Iβm going to run a 10k next summer (possibly before, but I really want to do the Severn Bridge 10k so thatβs my focus.) Itβs totally bonkers. π π πββοΈπββοΈ
Felt heavy from 3k but I still have about 3st to lose so I'm not going to beat myself up too much for not bouncing along like I was running on candy floss π€£. But I still had enough strength in me to put on a spurt in the last km. Probably should have left that to the last 500m so I could finish just a little more elegantly rather than gasping for air but ya know... c'est la vie! πππ
