I have Ronhill 'SmartTip' running gloves. Not sure if they are still sold, though.

Here is my "Running Gloves" wish list, built up over several years of running in the winter:

1) Thin but windproof;

2) Ideally fluorescent (or have something to improve visibility as you're running in winter);

3) Slightly rubberised fingers (so that your phone does not fall out of your grasp);

4) A conductive finger-tip (so that your smartphone touch screen works);

5) An absorbent panel on the thumb to manage drippy nose (probably TMI, sorry);

6) Easily washable (see item 5).

I'll mention that sometimes the conductive fingers for touch screens get wrecked by washing... I have two pairs that no longer work on touch screens...

I bought some Head touchscreen running gloves. They were very cosy. I know mountain warehouse do some silk gloves. X

They had hundreds in my local Costco in Watford yesterday. I've noticed on the packaging they are rated "warm", the lowest rating... there is warmer and warmest too but these were fine for me, they're thicker than silk gloves but I think they'll be fine for the colder weather, I get hot really quickly.

Not what you're looking for?
