After graduating in August I’m still running 😃 have completed 4 parkruns which I completed just under 40 minutes each one and this morning ran with hubby for 3.7 miles ( including warm up and warm down) am really enjoying it now have been out with both of my children who are so impressed with me, I’m still slow and have been running without MJ in my ear and now noticing my surroundings more which seems to take my mind off what my legs are doing 😂 just wanted to let newbies know I couldn’t run for a minute back in May so believing in this program is the best thing I have ever done - thank you for all your support up to now
Still at it 😃: After graduating in August I’m... - Couch to 5K
Still at it 😃
Great stuff Sue, sounds like you are enjoying your running which is what it is all about 😊
It isn't all about speed as you rightly said , being outside and seeing and hearing everything around you which most barely notice ..
Wonderful Sue... you’ve changed your life, maintained it and you’re obviously enjoying your running... that’s what it’s all about! Keep loving it.
Great to hear you are enjoying your runs...something I aspire to! I am all signed up to park run I just need to get through the next three weeks to build my stamina.
Well done you!! And thank you for your wise words, I’ll be so happy to get past week 9😉😉xx
Well done Sue, keep at it. I graduated in May last year. Kept running for a few months afterwards and completed 24 Parkruns. However in March I hurt my back and could hardly walk, never mind run. It is all sorted out since August but I’m finding it hard to bounce back. I got back to running 5K last month after 4 weeks of training, then got a cold. I’m back running again but after a 2 week break I’m back to the start again. It does not take long to lose the fitness. So keep running and enjoy it, keep it up. I plan to get back into doing Parkrun at the start of November.
