I have to say I was dreading this, I thought going from running for 8 minutes to 20 minutes would be too big a leap for me. But I did it!! Whoop!!

You went from running and brisk walking for 21 minutes to running for 20.......... well done you.

Just take it nice and steady on deceptive W6R1........it catches many out.

Thanks, I do feel great! And thanks for the advice about W6. I’ll try to go in with a more positive can do attitude but won’t be complacent. (She says currently high on endorphins 😂)

Well done! Run after next for me - feeling nervous but reading about others' successes is so inspiring. I can imagine the feeling of achievement you must have.

Hoping to draw on my experiences as a sailor - have had many 'adventures' in inclement conditions when you just have to hunker down and get on with it. I reckon the mental challenges will be similar...

Not as extreme as you but I used to be a boom op in tv, and had to have similar ‘no choice but to get on with it’ attitude during freezing night shoots in all weathers!
