Downloaded the app recently and tonight is the night! First run day!

How have people been finding the timing as they run? I don't want to keep fiddling with my phone for a stopwatch, any tips?

If you have a wristwatch that will give you some idea... I think the key is to not be so desperate for the end that you need to look... which is difficult on the first run... start SLOW

Welcome and good luck

If you have the NHS "couch to 5k app" the timings are all on there for you, from the 5 minute warm up through the run and walk sections, up to the final 5 minute cool down walk.

Remember to start slow and take it easy.

Good luck 😀😀😀

P.S. hello and welcome

The app will tell you the times you need. If you’re wearing headphones the audio instructions will be clear enough and you won’t need to look at your phone during the run.
