W4R2 - new route, new possibilities

Evening,

Today I decided to shake things a little bit and go for a different route with my dog. I picked my old old route. I think we both, me and my dog, were in a little shock and ran faster or something. As I had to do additional round on the other football field for the last 4th run, as we were too close to home. I covered 4km in 30 minutes and I am very pleased with that. I had a feeling that the whole run was faster / shorter in time. My dog behaved really well on those run parts :) I think she prefers longer intervals and knows a little better what to do now. I may see future for our running together :)

It was very nice run, even though during both 5 min intervals I was praying for end, as I felt my legs muscles more than recently and I was really tired. This run squeezed quite a lot of sweat out of me. I don't remember being so sweary for a while.

I am very happy that I beat the crap out of those gremlins that yet again we're trying to convince me to skip or postpone my run.

I still love the weather <3 very grateful for the sun and a bit of warmth :)

Happy running!

Gremlins can’t stop you... you’re rocking this. One day you’ll be praying for the end of an event run just the same as today, but you’ll get to the end just as today. You got this.

Thank you.

One step at a time, one foot in front of the other, breath in and breath out. Feel the fresh air in lungs, all that precious oxygen. Just go forward ;)

So pleased to read I’m not the only one who found this one a bit sweaty. Thought there was something wrong with me. Struggled with the second 5 min run. Not helped by this being my first road run and it’s very hilly where I live.

Embrace your hills. I wish I had one or two, to improve on the different level and to challenge me, and to look forward of conquering the hill.

I have only 1 false hill, which means you can feel the difficulty, kind of alive and kind of elevation, but you cannot see it at all.

And yes, this run was sweaty, very sweaty ;) We'll see what next run will bring :)
