I've just started Couch to 5K and just completed my first walk/run. Get calorie loss. I'm morbidly obese and at 48 (49 on Saturday), I want to get this weight off and get healthy, happy and get more energy and better sleep.

Good luck you can do it. I am 55 and seriously overweight and just done my first week 4 run. It's all in your head so keep to the plan and don't let yourself talk you out of it. Makes sure you have your rest days and pace yourself. You're doing this for you no-one else

Keep going I’m 15 stone lady pushing seventy and I m on wk8run3. I do it by putting one foot in front of the other. I wish I could do it every day. Just don’t stop. Good luck.
