Later start for me today as I waited for the rain to stop and the sun to come out. Tried a new route to try out the PG stamina podcast but I was confronted with a pedestrian crossing first one on my runs! So I did a little dance while on red to the Billy Ocean classic πΊπΊ
The first five minutes were tough today and running up one hill I swear I was going backwards π
But the change in pace on the podcast kept me going and I think pushed me when I really needed it so I'll be adding that to my running repertoire!

Great song!! Iβve never used these podcasts but may give them a try. Would you recommend? Running up hill does feel like running backward to me sometimes π. But youβve gone out there and ran for over 30 mins non stop which is great!! Well done.
Thanks Daveb88 I love to dance to that one! I would recommend trying the stamina one it's structured like the C25K runs but pushes you to up the pace in time to the music. Need to try the speed one next. I do like the structure, something to work towards. ππββοΈπββοΈ
Yes. I have to agree. Structure can be good. But I also like just going for a run and seeing what happens. Have you well and truly caught the running bug then?
Oh yes and nervous but all registered with ticket printed. I think I'll have to run with blinkers on so I keep to my own pace and not try to keep up with the big boys! π
Hmm π€a medal π₯would be nice but I don't think at my one you do as it's free and run by volunteers. I'm just hoping for a dry day! π I'm definitely a steady trotter rather than a speedster ππ
