Wk4 R1... Done! 🤩

Powered by Jo Whiley... She got me round, and I completed it without stopping. I was nervous about the 5mins, but now they’re in the bag! 🎉🙌

Nice one... hope the belief is growing, you can do all of the steps up.

I think it truly is... sometimes it’s mind over matter, fingers crossed for future runs! Onwards & upwards for you too! 💪👌

The plan takes care of the body... we gotta battle all the gremlins and trust it. Starting to prepare for my first 28 minute run later now... nil by mouth sign in my head... except water of course.

You go for it! You’ve done the hard bit with all the training... enjoy your run & feel proud! 🙌

So pleased for you, well done!! I failed this one today - just couldn’t do the last 5min run 🤦🏼‍♀️🤦🏼‍♀️🤦🏼‍♀️

Ah, bless you... You’ll get there, the last 5mins is especially tough! Keep at it & you’ll have it smashed in no time! 💪

I have my first run in week 4 tonight and like you a little worried about the 5 mins.

in reply to Bonsaiboy

Try not to worry! Get some tunes on, take it easy & remember to breathe! You’ve got this 💪🙌

Managed to do the wk4R1 last night. its wasn't as bad as I first thought and legs are fine today. May try to go a bit faster soon. Still listening to the light jog advice at the start. I guess further down the line they will start to kick ass.

Awesome work! I bet you feel amazing! Well done! 🙌💪👌

Yeah. On a rest day now and all I want to do is run again. Tomorrow cant wait to finish work and get back out. I try to go out after I get home from work as soon as I can. Thought it would be hard to do that after an hours drive home but have been itching to do it so far. I had a sneaky look ahead at future weeks and looks like a 20min run isn't far away. cant imagine doing that!

in reply to Bonsaiboy

Good on you! Especially after a full day plus a long drive home!

I see the 20min run is just around the corner! ... Think it’ll be tough, but so worth it!

We’ve got this! 🙌

Ive just looked ahead. The last run in week 5 is straight into one 20min run yet the first run of week 6 has its longest run of only 8 mins. don't understand why there's such a big leap in the last run of week 5.

Not a big leap if you look at the cumulative runs. It's the rest time that reduces, the cumulative runs in week 6 are building you to 25 mins without rest at the end of that week. At this stage you're just doing one long run per week

I see the pattern... one long run & the other two to continue building the strength & stamina!

Bring on wk 5... 😆🎉
