I feel the same. I've been trying to remove as many obstacles as possible, like having running gear in position, but have found many tips on here so well worth a browse through old posts on the subject.

Thanks Caroline, I like the idea of running gear in position. This is a new world to me 😊

I leave running clothes in a pile, dressing gown left in bathroom...then I think do it NOW get it DONE. I prefer running in the morning as there are less people around to frighten as I jog up breathing like a carthorse and less people to judge my slow pace. It's just you, the streetlights and the VERY early workers and the occasional birdsong. Am I selling it yet?

My motivation is to run as fast as l can (🐌 just for you Oldfloss, I’m following your mantra) past the cemetery ( l usually have a brisk walk but have progressed) Its kinda spooky early morning & there’s no street lights👻Guess it’s a mind set thing. I stick to set days.I make sure l have my running gear out the night before Hope you find what works for you even if it means running at a different time. Keep focused 👍🏻

No-one can make you turn out It’s your call If you have to run early morning then that’s the deal

As the great god Nike said, “Just do it” 👍😃

Seriously though. Just do it without thinking about it, just do rather than argue with yourself. Should I shouldn’t I, will i ,won’t I ? While you’re busy playing mental tennis you could have done the session 🙂

I started the program in September too. You soon get used to it though bit of a shock at first. I was the world biggest wimp but was amazed how quick I acclimatised 🙂

Good luck 🙂
